Robert Ryan Ohmart

-

– 32, of Phoenix, Arizona. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of Robert “Ryan” Ohmart on August 28, 2018. Ryan was born in Kingman, Arizona on November 4th, 1985. He was the first son of Tom and Patty Ohmart. Ryan graduated from Horizon High School with his BLK buddies in 2004. They are still the tightest group of young adults one will ever witness. Ryan leaves behind his bothers Joshua, Tommy and Chris. His girlfriend Desiree Williams, her daughter Sienna (who was Ryan’s princess). Also, still here and missing him are his loving Nana (Libia Moorhouse), Uncles, Aunts and numerous cousins. One has to mention his numerous Brothers and Sisters of the Phoenix Fire Department Family as well. Waiting for Ryan in heaven are his Tata (Jim Moorhouse), Grandparents (Bob & Laverne), and his buddy Stephen Fox.

Ryan received his “Life’s Calling” profession in 2005, to follow his father’s footsteps and become a Phoenix Firefighter. He lived the life of a true public servant, on and off duty. Neighbors and friends would describe his personality as compassionate, incredibly friendly and willing to help them in any situation. Fellow firefighters would tell story after story about how Ryan would care for all patients as if they were family. Wealthy or homeless, Ryan showed them love and caring treatment. His never-ending smile was contagious. Services will be held on September 8th, 11:00 am at Sun Valley Community Church, Tempe Campus. Located at 6101 S. River Drive, Tempe 85283.
