Stephen Glen Pitt

– Stephen Glen Pitt, 50, of Midland, TX passed away on September 1, 2018. Services were held Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel.

Steve was born on July 14, 1968 in Omaha, NE to Norman Pitt and Kay Hestness Pitt. Steve was interested in aviation from a very early age and although he worked at various companies in several countries, he loved his job and his co-workers/ friends at Concho Resources. More than anything Steve loved spending time with his daughter Sydney, whether fishing, traveling or just being together, she was the light of his life.

He is preceded in death by his father and is survived by his daughter Sydney Grace Pitt, mother Kay Pitt, sisters Julie (Alan) Aken, Laura (Stewart) Ingram and Valerie Thomsen, brother Jeffrey Pitt, former wife Tara Tischler and her children Jacqueline Maynard and Bradley Maynard and grandchildren Isaiah, Trillion and Gabriel, numerous aunts and uncles, five beautiful nieces and a great niece and nephew.

The family would like to express their gratitude towards the caring staff at Midland Memorial Hospital and Hospice of Midland.
