GLENDALE – Robert L. Kaul (Rob) passed away on October 19, 2018. The son of Robert J. Kaul and Janet G. Johnson, he was born February 16, 1984 in Denver, CO.

Robert received his Associates degree. For more than 12 years, he worked as a Sprinkler Fitter and enjoyed the career opportunities and convivial atmosphere among his friends at Arizona Verde Fire Protection.

Robert loved sports, animals, hunting, and most of all being a good friend. He was a prankster, was always the first person to tell a joke, and you could always laugh with him as he quoted from his favorite comedy movies. Robert made lifelong friendships from playing sports in his youth and through work. He had a great work ethic and was surrounded everyday by people that loved him very much.

Robert is survived by his mother Janet and stepfather Andy of Sun City, AZ; sister Emily of San Francisco, CA; uncle Jimmy (Carolyn) Johnson of Adrian, MI and cousins Steven of Monroe, MI and Michael (Stacy) of Lakeland, FL. On his paternal side he is survived by his step-mother Marcia Kaul of Waco, TX; cousins David (Donna) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Christopher of Raleigh, NC, Stephen (Lindsey) of Ray Township, MI; and niece Abigail and nephew Alexander.

This post is unfairly too short to enumerate the ways in which Robert will be missed.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the ASCPA to commemorate Rob’s love of Animals, https://secure.aspca.org/team/robs-memorial-campaign. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday October 27rd at Menke Funeral Home in Sun City.
