Gregory Tyler Garcia

WADDELL – Gregory Tyler (G.T.) Garcia, 18, of Waddell, AZ died October 27, 2018, from a car accident as he was traveling home to be with family. G.T. was born in Phoenix, AZ on July 27, 2000 to parents: Melissa Diane (Christopher Kirk) Shipley and Greg Raymond Garcia.

G.T. recently graduated from Paradise Honors High School where he played on the varsity football team (#76). Go Panthers! G.T. was an avid sports enthusiast and he had a love for music. G.T. learned to play guitar from his grandpa’s John (Jack) McAtee and Fred Garcia Jr. and his mom and Uncle Ryan Garcia were instrumental in teaching him how to play piano. The families enjoyed spending time singing songs while the band of musicians strummed and played along. G.T. aspired to join the marines (after college). His life’s plan was to go into politics where he was going to be the next United States President.

G.T. is survived by Parents, Melissa Diane (Christopher Kirk) Shipley of Waddell, AZ and Greg Raymond Garcia of Phoenix, AZ, Siblings, Caden Matthew Shipley, Isabelle Kate Shipley, Gabriella Delores Garcia, Jessyka Marie Lalor (close cousin), Anthony John-Garcia Lopez (close cousin), Grandparents, Susan Kaye and John (Jack) McAtee of Surprise, AZ, Cindy and Fred Garcia of Phoenix, AZ, Carole and Dick Prescott of Pleasant Grove, UT, Kirk Randall Shipley of Fairfield, UT, David Lee Jones of Imlay City, MI, Great Grandmother, Neva Irene Carr as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins G.T. is preceded in death by: Arnold Carr, John and Opal McAtee, Alfred and Margaret Garcia Sr., Donald, Steven, Aaron and Donnie Carr, Kayce Lopez, Jason Lopez and Dean Whitlock.

Services will be held at CCV, 7007 W Happy Valley Rd, Peoria AZ 85383 on Monday, November 5, 2018.
