Sandra Melbye

SCOTTSDALE – Sandra Lynn Melbye, Age 68 of Scottsdale, Arizona passed in peace on October 19, 2018. She was born and raised in LaCrosse, Wisconsin where she met and married her husband of forty-six years, Kenneth. Sandra was preceded in death by her father Jack Schermerhorn, Sr. and survived by: her mother Florence Schermerhorn; her brother Jack Schermerhorn, Jr.; Sister Sheila Schermerhorn; her dedicated husband, Kenneth Melbye; her two lovely daughters Amy Melbye and Kristin Melbye; her son Erik Melbye; and her grandson, that she was so proud of, Christian Melbye. She lived her life as a kind, thoughtful, and generous person; she enjoyed traveling, including many destinations such as: Italy, Spain, and Costa Rica; Sandra loved collectibles, such as: ceramic bunnies, collectible tins, and bobble heads. She was highly educated, with a Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Wisconsin LaCrosse and a Master Degree in Physician’s Assistant Studies from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her career as a Physician’s Assistant spanned from 1996 to 2004, working for Concentra Medical Centers in Mesa, AZ. Sandra’s Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 3:30 pm on November 30, 2018 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Parish in Scottsdale, Arizona.
