Must we blame all shootings on Donald Trump?

Why, when there is a tragedy like the California bar shooting leaving 12 dead, do those on the left want to blame President Trump?

There were 14 mass shootings during the eight-year Obama presidency. Major Nidal Hasan at Fort Hood, Omar Mateen at the Orlando nightclub, and Adam Lanza at Sandy Hook Elementary School, just to name a few.

I don’t recall anyone blaming President Obama for the actions of a mentally ill person.

Realize there are millions of Americans on the right that disliked President Obama and his policies just as much as those on the left dislike President Trump and his.

But does every tragedy in America have to be politicized?

It’s not the caravan that threatens us, but the crazy Yanks with guns

Last night, a Canadian friend phoned. We have our usual exchange of opinions about the politics of our two countries. Then he said, “How about that CARAVAN heading for your border?”

I retorted, “Frankly, I worry more about our home-grown gun-crazy guys.”

This morning I turned on the TV and saw that another 12 people were mowed down in a California bar.

So, yes, I am much more about the “home-grown” guys. worried

With so many guns out there, disturbed people are getting them

Another mass shooting, another investigation that explains nothing, and we all sit wondering when and where the next gun homicides will happen.

I said long ago that an event like Columbine was the format and direction for every dysfunctional, disaffected wingnut to gain attention even if lethal to themselves.

“I’ll show those people ... they’ll never forget me now” is the mindset they carry to lethal conclusion.

Too bad we are so willing to shrug at the news and shake our collective heads and hope for NIMBY.

Not once does anyone bring up the fact the very best mental-health screening and care is right here on our own soil. Unfortunately, it’s far too expensive for anyone who isn’t wealthy. The outcome is “breaking news!” every night.

I’m a 30-year Democrat, raised in Colorado and own a closet full of guns. I’m the first person to say, “It’s not the gun, it’s the person holding it.”

Line up a random 100 people off the street and give them a pistol and a box of ammo. Good chance you just gave a loaded gun to 2-3 people you shouldn’t have.

The phony video showing CNN’s Jim Acosta laying hands on the White House intern is fake news.

It’s the White House and Mr. Trump himself who are spewing the lion’s share of lies that we label fake news. The phony video that Sarah Sanders posted was clearly doctored by Infowars, one of many Trump supporting, hate mongering, lie machines.

You want to stop fake news? Put a muzzle on the bloated, orange menace and you’re halfway there. This blatantly altered video shows to what lengths this administration will go to stifle free speech while turning it around to find any innocent scapegoat.

Jim Acosta deserves to be at every

In spite of what the believes, there was no blue wave. The Democrats won a small majority in the House and a lost 3-5 seats in the Senate. If they choose the “investigate Trump “route, instead of trying to legislate, they will create a greater divide in Congress and get nothing done for two years. The country will not stand for hate and investigation for two more years. The fallout in 2020 will be massive. The red wave will take place.
