AMERICAN FAMILY INSURANCE ALL-USA ARIZONA PRESEASON BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM
This is the American Family Insurance All-USA Arizona preseason high school boys basketball team for the 2018-19 season.
Four of the five are seniors. A year from now, you'll catch them playing for Arizona, ASU and GCU. But first, they'll take the Arizona high school season by storm.
The players are listed alphabetically.
Jovan Blacksher Jr., Phoenix Shadow Mountain, 6-0, PG, Sr.
This Grand Canyon commit is able to break down defenses as well as anybody in the state. He is a great defender and isn't afraid to take big shots.
Majok Deng, Tucson Salpointe Catholic, 6-5, G/F, Sr.
Silky smooth, he was electric in the final four last season, helping the Lancers reach the 4A final and pushing Shadow Mountain to the limit before a heart-wrenching lost.
Jaelen House, Shadow Mountain, 6-1, G, Sr.
An Arizona State commit, he is the emotional spark of a team that has won state championships in all three years of his high school career so far.
Nico Mannion, Phoenix Pinnacle, 6-3, PG, Sr.
Mannion is the nation's highest-rated point guard for the 2019 class. He reclassified from a junior to a senior and will put on a show this year before starting his college career at Arizona.
Evan Nelson, Salpointe Catholic, 6-2, PG, Jr.
When he became eligible midway through last season, Salpointe's season turned around. Possesses great court awareness and can fill it up in a heartbeat from anywhere on the floor.
