No. 3 Duke 84, Hartford 54: Freshman RJ Barrett had 27 points and a season-best 15 rebounds, and host Duke (8-1) pulled away to rout Hartford (3-7) on Wednesday.

Zion Williamson added 18 points and 12 rebounds, and Tre Jones and Javin Delaurier finished with 10 points apiece to help the Blue Devils win their third straight. Duke shot 62 percent in the second half to more than make up for hitting just five 3-pointers.

No. 13 Texas Tech 65, Ark-Pine Bluff 47: Jarrett Culver scored 13 points, Matt Mooney had 11 and host Texas Tech (8-0) remained undefeated with a victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff (2-6).

The Red Raiders entered as the nation’s top team in field goal defense, and that trend continued in their first home game this season as a ranked team.

No. 14 North Carolina 97, UNC Wilmington 69: Cameron Johnson scored 21 points to help host North Carolina (7-2) beat UNC Wilmington (4-6).

Freshman forward Nassir Little added 14 points in the Tar Heels’ first game since losing at No. 5 Michigan last week.

No. 15 Virginia Tech 89, VMI 68: Justin Robinson scored 18 points and host Virginia Tech (7-1) cruised past the Virginia Military Institute (5-5).

Robinson hit a trio of 3-pointers for the Hokies.

No. 17 Buffalo 89, Le Moyne 55: CJ Massinburg had 13 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, and host Buffalo (8-0) used a big second-half run to beat Division II Le Moyne.

No. 19 Ohio State 77, Illinois 67: Keyshawn Woods scored 12 of his 18 points in the second half, Kaleb Wesson added 13 and Ohio State (8-1, 2-0) rallied in the second half for a victory over Illinois (2-7, 0-2) in Chicago.

No. 21 Villanova 69, Temple 59: Jermaine Samuels hit three 3-pointers in the second half that kept host Villanova (7-2) from its worst home losing streak in 25 years and helped knock off Temple (7-2).

Minnesota 85, No. 24 Nebraska 78: Amir Coffey scored a career-high 32 points, Jordan Murphy had 18 points and 13 rebounds, and host Minnesota (7-2, 1-1 Big Ten) rallied to beat Nebraska (7-2, 1-1).

Top 10 women

No. 9 Tennessee 65, Stetson 55: Rennia Davis had 24 points and nine rebounds and Tennessee overcame a 20point second-half deficit to stay unbeaten.

No. 10 North Carolina State 83, Hampton 51: Kiara Leslie scored a season-high 24 points for North Carolina State in first game as a Top 10 team since 2014.

Pac-12 men

Washington State 90, Idaho 70: Robert Franks scored 22 points as Washington State beat Idaho. Freshman CJ Elleby had 20 points and eight rebounds for Washington State (5-2) and Ahmed Ali added 14 points in 18 minutes.
