Outlook: Washington (18-4, 9-0) enters the contest with a three-game lead in the Pac-12. It narrowly missed cracking the AP Top 25 poll this week, finishing as the top team in the receiving votes category. The Huskies, picked third in the preseason coaches poll, have won seven of their nine conference games by more than 10 points with the closest call being a 61-56 win over Oregon. The effort is led by sophomore G Jaylen Nowell (16.6 ppg), the sixth-leading scorer in the conference. Washington is known for its zone defense. It leads the conference in scoring defense (64.2 ppg) as well as field goal percentage defense (.401) and also leads in such defensive categories as blocks (6.2 pg) and steals (8.8 pg) . ... Arizona (14-8, 5-4) is looking to snap a three-game losing streak. It dropped the back-to-back games in Los Angeles, then lost to rival Arizona State on Jan. 31. Injuries have slowed an already young team as Brandon Williams (knee) missed the last game. C Chase Jeter (back spasms) played but was not at full strength and had missed the previous two games.

Injury report: Washington could be without leading rebounder Noah Dickerson (ankle) who left Saturday’s game. Freshman C Bryan Penn-Johnson (leg) also missed the last game and is questionab­le . ... Arizona will likely be without freshman G Brandon Williams (ankle) who missed the game at ASU. Junior C Chase Jeter (back spasms) played but was limited and is questionab­le.
