Rebecca (Becky) Ann Burton Powers

PHOENIX – Rebecca (Becky) Ann Burton Powers was born October 02, 1938 and passed away January 17, 2019. Becky was born in Muncie, Indiana and graduated in Phoenix from North High School in 1956. Becky is survived by her husband of 60 years, Thomas Powers; two children, Shelley Powers Lahr (husband Rick Lahr) and Scott Powers (wife Sarah Powers) ; seven Grandchildren (Austin, Courtney (wife Mallory), Katie, John, Steven, Anthony & Avery); her great granddaughter Evelyn & two step-grandkids, Braylon & Brielle; her sister Beth Burton Fetters. Becky is preceded in death by her Father (Allan Burton) & Mother (Janice Burton) as well as her two brothers David Burton & John Burton. She died peacefully with her husband and two children by her side from complications of Alzheimer’s. She passed away just as she lived – with a full heart! She was a beautiful wife, mother & friend-inside & out! She was known to be the last one at the party wearing her adorable animal print outfit, complete with jewelry, matching shoes and purse and of course, lipstick! Becky is gone, but definitely won’t be forgotten. She loved many and was loved by many.
