‘Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw’ (★★1⁄2): Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are rival superspies in this spinoff co-starring Idris Elba as a cybernetic­ally enhanced supervilla­in on a mission to unleash a deadly virus. (PG-13 — 135 minutes) P, V, D.

‘John Wick: Chapter 3 Parabellum’ (★★★★1⁄2): Assassin John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is on the run after killing an internatio­nal assassin guild member. (R — 130 minutes) P, V.

‘The Lion King’ (★★★1⁄2): A classic Disney story is brought back to life by director Jon Favreau. A young lion prince runs away from home after his uncle kills his father, unbeknowns­t to the cub. (PG —118 minutes).
