Brian and Ema Matthews, parents of Toronto Maple Leaf center Auston Matthews, used a trust to purchase a contempora­ry-style mansion in Phoenix’s Red Rock community.

The 7,319-square-foot, single-story estate nestled at the base of Mummy Mountain has five bedrooms and 61⁄2 bathrooms.

The home was remodeled in 2018 with upgrades that include 27 feet of glass pocket doors, a separate guest casita and a kitchen with Binova cabinets manufactur­ed in Italy.

White Gates LLC, an Arizona limitedlia­bility company, sold the house.
