ASU, UA football schedules for ’20 season released
Arizona State football fans can start marking their calendars — the 2020 schedule is out.
The Sun Devils, coming off an 8-5 campaign, will have six home games beginning with non-conference games, opening on Sept. 3, a Thursday night, against Northern Arizona University. That will be followed by a clash with Brigham Young University Sept. 12.
The Sun Devils are 22-14-4 all-time against Northern Arizona and 20-7 against BYU.
The lone non-conference road game will be at UNLV.
The Sun Devils open Pac-12 play on Sept. 26 against USC at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
Their first home conference game will come the following week against Oregon State. Other home conference games will be against UCLA, Cal and Utah with the Utah contest being the last home game, which will be Senior Day.
As usual, the season concludes with the Territorial Cup game, which will be played in Tucson against Arizona on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
The 2020 Sun Devil Football schedule is on the league's computer cycle of having four Pac-12 home games and five conference road games. Every Pac-12 team has two "misses" each year, meaning the teams they do not face. For ASU in 2020, that will be Stanford and Washington, just as it was last season.
The Pac-12 Championship game will be played on Dec. 4 in the new Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
