‘I’m as mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore!’

-

To all politicians and all Americans who had to put up with the most repulsive campaign advertising ever.

My goal is to get people to stand up and say “NO MORE!”

Bad mouthing your opponent and not telling me what you intend to do to make this state and country better will not get my vote. The estimates for spending on the 2020 elections is $7 billion — enough to feed millions.

If I took my own advice, I would not be able to vote because everyone was badmouthing everyone. It all became so nauseating that I no longer wanted to watch television.

I certainly wasn’t going to read any political advertisements that came in the mail. It’s sad enough that we had to deal with COVID-19, but if you didn’t get COVID, you were still sick to your stomach listening to all the vile rhetoric that has been spewed during the campaigns.

This country stands for peace, yet there has been no peace in this election only ugliness, lies and hatred.

Please join me in letting our politicians know that they will not get our votes if they continue this disgusting bad-mouthing behavior.

I’m as mad as hell and ready to re-program my remote control

The pause, fast forward and mute buttons on my DVR remote control allowed me to survive continuous bombardment of political ads on TV. N

ow, I am hopeful that there’s a way to program my remote to let each campaign know I have already voted and that I will no longer be subjected to such rhetorical pollution.
