- Elizabeth Montgomery

The COVID-19 pandemic may have slowed down many things in real life, but the gaming industry has been thriving.

Two highly anticipated devices, the Playstation 5 (or PS5) and Xbox Series X consoles come out in November along with several new games we’ve all been waiting for. If you can get your hands on at least one of the new consoles, consider yourself lucky. The preorders are currently sold out.

The excitement includes local players, those who stream their games for others to watch on Twitch.

While you’re trying to figure out how to get one of those hot new consoles, you can pick up some tips on how to play your favorite games from some of these metro-Phoenix gamers. You can check out their skills on Twitch playing popular games including Call of Duty, Genshin Impact, Minecraft and Overwatch.

In real life they are parents, students, veterans, content creators and more. But once the games are switched on they take on entirely different personalities.
