Robert Francis Durante

-

December 28, 1937 - January 12, 2021

The universe dimmed by a few lumens in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 12, 2021, as the life of the amazing Robert Francis Durante came to a peaceful end as he slept in his home surrounded by love. He was born in Albany, NY on December 28, 1937. Bob’s birth given name was Francis Robert, which he was not fond of and had it legally switched as a young adult.

He grew up in Medford, Oregon with his three other brothers and his caring parents, Frank & Frances Durante. Robert loved the Pacific coastline and after serving in the marines at Camp Pendelton he ended up meeting his wife Margaret of the beach in Santa Monica. The couple moved to Phoenix where Robert spent the majority of his life helping Margaret raise their two children, Stephanie and Todd. He owned and operated his very successful tax business; Penny Tax also forged many long-term friendships. He was a very gracious and generous man and throughout his lifetime used his success to helping those in need and donating to many worthy and legit organizations.

Robert unfortunately lost his battle with non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver and is sadly missed and very much loved.

As per Bob’s request cremation has taken place and no services at this time. If you’re reading this please bow your head for a moment to honor this great man.

Online condolences may be made at www.PeacockFH.com. Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
