More Arizonans are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine as the state and many counties are in Phase 1B of distribution.

In addition to the priority groups already able to register in most counties, the state starting Tuesday will allow adults 65 and over to make appointments. But that won’t be available in all counties right away given limited vaccine supply.

Here’s what we know about how to sign up for your shot:

To find a location near you, visit the state’s Vaccine Finder webpage at az health.gov/findvaccine. You’ll see locations statewide that offer the vaccine, along with information about who is eligible and how to register at each site.

Appointments can be booked for the 24/7 state-run State Farm Stadium vaccination site and other locations through the state’s registration website at pod vaccine.azdhs.gov. The state is opening a new vaccination site Feb. 1 at Phoenix Municipal Stadium, with registration starting Jan. 19. Other locations are in the works.

Those who need technical support with the registration website can call 602-542-1000.

People without internet access or who need help registering for an appointment can call the state’s COVID-19 hotline at 844-542-8201. The state says it’s ramped up the call center in preparation to meet the demand of people calling to schedule appointments.

For more information about eligibility and local vaccination locations, contact your county.

Some counties will display local vaccine locations and have county-specific registration systems or call-in lines.

In Maricopa County, information on Phase 1B registration is available at Maricopa.gov/COVID19Vaccine1B.

There may be limited appointments at first. More vaccine locations and appointments will be available as the state receives more doses and allocates them to counties, providers and pharmacies.

The state plans to provide up to 100 pharmacy stores with vaccine over the next few weeks.

Currently, only eligible individuals who have prescheduled appointments are able to get the vaccine.

Counties can be in different phases at different times, and the state outlines where counties stand each day at https://www.azdhs.gov/documents/ preparedness/epidemiology-diseasecontrol/infectious-disease-epidemiolo gy/novel-coronavirus/vaccine-phases. pdf. Many counties are now in Prioritized Phase 1B or full Phase 1B. Phase 1A individuals can still get vaccinated.

Here are the phases as outlined by the state (specifics may differ by county):

● Phase 1A: Health care workers and health care support occupations; emergency medical services workers; longterm care facility staff and residents.

● Prioritized Phase 1B: Education and child care workers; protective services occupations (law enforcement officers, corrections officers, etc.); adults 75 and older; remaining 1A individuals.

● Phase 1B: Essential services and critical industry workers; adults with high-risk conditions in congregate settings; remaining 1A and prioritized 1B individuals.

● Phase 1C: Adults 65 and older; adults of any age with high-risk medical conditions; adults living in congregate settings; remaining 1A and 1B individuals.

● Phase 2: Additional high-risk and critical populations; general public; remaining Phase 1 individuals.

● Phase 3: General public; remaining Phase 1 and 2 individuals.
