Canadiens 2, SENATORS 1: Jake Allen made 34 saves and Josh Anderson broke a tie early in the third period to lead Montreal over Ottawa. Jeff Petry also scored as Montreal gave coach Claude Julien his 200th win with the franchise. Colin White scored for Ottawa.

Coyotes 3, BLUES 1: Jakob Chychrun scored twice and Clayton Keller added a power-play goal, helping Arizona beat St. Louis. Chychrun added an empty-netter in the final minute. Coyotes goalie Darcy Kuemper stopped 23 shots to improve to 3-5-1.

ISLANDERS 4, Penguins 3: Anders Lee scored on the power play late in the third period to lift New York over Pittsburgh, snapping a five-game skid. Lee scored with 2:44 left after Pittsburgh’s Teddy Blueger was penalized for delay of game. Semyon Varlamov made 28 saves for the Islanders.

MAPLE LEAFS 5, Canucks 1: Auston Matthews scored twice to extend his goal streak to a career-best seven games and Toronto heaped more misery on Vancouver with a victory. Wayne Simmonds scored twice and Zach Hyman had a goal

and an assist, providing the rest of the offense for Toronto. Frederik Andersen made 27 saves.

Sharks at DUCKS (late): San Jose visits Anaheim after Maxime Comtois scored two goals in the Ducks’ 5-4 shootout loss to the Sharks on Friday. Anaheim finished 9-10-2 in division play and 16-15-5 at home in the 2019-20 season. San Jose went 29-36-5 overall and 11-11-1 in division action in the 2019-20 season. The teams meet for the second straight game.

Oilers at FLAMES (late): Edmonton seeks to build upon its three-game win streak with a victory against Calgary. Calgary finished 36-27-7 overall and 13-10-1 in division games in the 2019-20 season. . Edmonton went 11-9-4 in division play and 20-14-3 on the road in the 2019-20 season. The matchup Saturday is the first meeting of the season for the two teams.
