A former Denver Broncos quarterbac­k and a handful of corporate executives were among the buyers and sellers of this week’s metro Phoenix home sales.

$5,100,000

Richard and Alisha McBee bought an 8,500-square-foot mansion in Paradise Valley’s gated Judson neighborho­od. Richard McBee is the president of Riverbed Technology Inc., a San Francisco computer software company. The home has seven bedrooms, 71⁄2 bathrooms, an outdoor shower, a basketball court and a gated motor court. Cactus Wren PV LLC, led by insurance consultant R. Michael Jans, sold the home.

David and Donna Crofford bought a 15,395-square-foot north Scottsdale estate situated on 3.5 acres. The master suite has a fireplace, workout room and steam room. The home, with six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, comes with a theater, putting green, 1,300bottle wine cellar and a 12-car garage. David Crofford runs a venture capital group that funds tech firms.

Mark and Beverly Nuessle of Valley Wide Building Materials Corp. sold the home. Mike Domer of Walt Danley Christie’s Internatio­nal Real Estate has the listing.

A 9,300-square-foot property in north Scottsdale’s exclusive Silverleaf neighborho­od was purchased by Wayne and Melissa Roberts. It came with five bedrooms, six bathrooms, an indoor driving range and golf simulator as well as an outdoor kitchen near several water features. Colin and Nancy Markley sold the home. Mike Domer of Walt Danley Christie’s Internatio­nal Real Estate has the listing.

The Jonathan Painter Trust of Boston paid cash for an 8,800-square-foot estate in north Scottsdale’s Desert Mountain community. Painter is chairman of the publicly traded Kadant Inc., which makes equipment for recycling paper. His home, situated on 3.2 acres next to the Cochise-Geronimo golf course, has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The Harrington Family Trust, led by Rick and Susan Harrington, sold the home.

Wayne Goshkarian of insurance firm Dylan Consulting purchased a 7,351square-foot property in Silverleaf’s Arcadia neighborho­od in north Scottsdale. The “modern Mediterran­ean” style home has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a resort-style backyard and a large auto court. Nevada-based Malakai Properties, led by former Arizona State University and Denver Broncos quarterbac­k Brock Osweiler, sold the home.
