Oregon QB Shough transferring

Tyler Shough, a former blue-chip recruit from Chandler Hamilton High who was Oregon's starting quarterback last year, has transferred to Texas Tech. He made the announcement 10 days after he had his name placed into the NCAA transfer portal. As a sophomore last year, Shough completed 63.5 percent of his passes in the shortened Pac-12 season for 1,559 yards with 13 touchdowns and six interceptions. With the NCAA not charging any player a year's eligibility for the pandemic-disrupted 2020 season, he will have three years of eligibility remaining.
