HORNETS 107, Pistons 94: LaMelo Ball returned from a 21-game absence with 11 points, leading the Hornets to a victory over the Pistons. A leading candidate for Rookie of the Year, Ball had surgery to repair a broken wrist sustained on March 20. He played 28 minutes and added eight rebounds and seven assists.

Warriors 113, ROCKETS 87 : Stephen Curry bounced back from a rough first half — in which he shot just 2 for 12 — with 23 of his 30 points in the third quarter, and the Warriors beat the Rockets. Andrew Wiggins had 20 points for Golden State, and Mychal Mulder and Jordan Poole both added 17 off the bench.

Pacers 152, THUNDER 95: Domantas Sabonis had a first-half triple double, finished with 30 points, 19 rebounds and 14 assists to lead the Pacers to a blowout of the Thunder, who have now lost 16 of their last 17 games. Doug McDermott had 31 points for Indiana. The Thunder’s 57-point margin of defeat is the worst home loss in NBA history.

Heat 124, CAVALIERS 107 : Kendrick Nunn had 22 points and Bam Adebayo had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Heat who cruised by the Cavs, handing Cleveland its sixth straight loss. Duncan Robinson scored 20 points for the Heat on 6 of 9 shooting from three.

HAWKS 108, Bulls 97 : Trae Young had 33 points, Clint Capela had 20 points and 11 rebounds and the Hawks beat the Bulls to snap a three-game losing streak. Bogdan Bogdanovic added 15 points and John Collins had 13 and 10 rebounds for Atlanta. Chicago has lost three straight.

MAGIC 112, Grizzlies 111:

Cole Anthony hit the game-winning three with less than a second remaining to push the Magic past the Grizzlies. Anthony finished with 26 points. Ja Morant had 22 points and seven assists for the Grizzles.

Pelicans 140, TIMBERWOLV­ES 136 (OT) : Zion Williamson had 33 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, Lonzo Ball had

33 points and 11 rebounds and the Pelicans knocked off the Timberwolv­es in overtime. Karl-Anthony Towns had 28 points and 14 rebounds for Minnesota.

MAVERICKS 125, Wizards 124 : Dorian Finney-Smith put the Mavericks ahead with a three with 9.3 seconds left, and the Wizards’ Bradley Beal missed an attempt at a game-winner with less than three seconds left as Dallas hung on to win. Dallas’ Luka Doncic had 31 points, 20 assists and 12 rebounds. Washington’s Russell Westbrook had 42 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists.

Raptors at JAZZ, late: Toronto will attempt to end its three-game road slide when the Raptors visit Utah. The two teams matchup for the second time this season. The Jazz defeated the Raptors 115-112 in their last meeting on March 19. Donovan Mitchell led Utah with 31 points, and Pascal Siakam paced Toronto scoring 27 points.

Nuggets at CLIPPERS, late : Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets visit the Clippers. The teams square off for the third time this season. The Nuggets won the last matchup 101-94 on April 1. Jamal Murray scored 23 points to help lead Denver to the win.
