MAY 19, 1948 – APRIL 20, 2021 Carlos Aldaco Carbajal, age 72, entered Heaven peacefully at the family home on Tuesday evening, after a long battle with cancer.

Carlos is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several medals, including the Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Combat Infantryma­n Badge. He honorably served the United States Army and then moved into a career with United States Postal Service. After 34 years of faithful service, Carlos retired in 2008 to pursue his other passion, fishing and supporting fellow veterans. After retirement, Carlos spent his time as an active member of the Desert Warriors, LLC, Dysart High School Alumni and countless other activities supporting local military veterans.

Carlos, age 72, is survived by his wife Juanita M. Carbajal; daughters Jessica C. Dudney, Lisa M. Carbajal, and son, Carlos M. Carbajal. He also had three loving grandsons, Andrew J. Sorensen, Carlos J. Carbajal and Jason A. Carbajal.

Born in Phoenix, Arizona on 19 May 1948, Carlos was predecease­d by his father, Carlos C. Carbajal; mother, Jessie A. Carbajal; and brother, Ernesto Carbajal. He is also survived by his brothers, Ted Carbajal, Joe Carbajal, Mike Carbajal and sisters, Eloisa Chavez, Margie Rivera, Esther Saldivar, Yolanda Carbajal and Sally Ortega.

A graveside service with Military Honors Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301 on Wednesday, April 28th at 1 PM.
