Daughter finds McCain still living inside Trump’s head

Not long after his death in 2018, the late Sen. John McCain took up temporary residence in an empty, unfurnished condominium inside the head of Donald Trump.

During the intervening years the former president has never been able to evict the long-time senator from Arizona, who seems to come and go as he pleases.

McCain’s mere presence inside his head irritates Trump to no end, causing him periodically to publicly insult and attempt to denigrate the memory of the late senator, only in a way that makes Trump sound like a 75-year-old adolescent who never got over being picked last for dodge ball during sixth grade gym class.

Now, apparently, Sen. McCain is welcoming visitors to his co-op in Trump’s cranium.

Specifically, his daughter, Meghan. The senator’s daughter recently left her position as a co-host on television’s “The View,” and has included much about her time there, and the difficulties she says she faced, in a memoir published recently called “Bad Republican.”

Apparently, Meghan receiving some publicity because of her book was like someone ringing a doorbell in the McCain condo, causing Trump to act like a startled, barking dog.

He issued a statement saying in part, “Isn’t it funny that Meghan McCain, who has always been a bully and basically a lowlife, is now complaining that it was she who was bullied by the Slobs and Radical Left maniacs of ‘The View.’”

Naturally, he also took the opportunity to insult, again, Meghan’s father, saying, “At the request of many of her representatives, I made it possible for her father to have the world’s longest funeral, designed and orchestrated by him, even though I was never, to put it mildly, a fan. In his own very special way, he was a RINO’s RINO.”

Trump simply cannot deal with the respect and appreciation that was shown to the late senator. Something he’ll never get.

And he knows it.

And it eats at him.

For her part, Meghan McCain seemed to rather enjoy her brief visit to her father’s paranormal penthouse.

During an interview with Fox News’s “MediaBuzz” she said of Trump’s rant, “My first reaction was, ‘Thanks for the publicity.’ He really has a way of helping people get publicity for their books.”

She added, “My family and him have a blood feud at this point.”

The McCains will want to be careful with that.

A bloodstained carpet is costly to clean and could cause the late senator to lose his security deposit.

Wait … I forgot.

John McCain is living inside Trump’s skull rent free.
