Amanda Marcelle Wilkinson
Amanda Marcelle Wilkinson (Nazer), 35, passed away on October 14, 2021. Amanda was born on July 29, 1986 in Phoenix, Arizona to Marcelle Harmon Wilkinson and William G. Wilkinson.
Mandy (as she was known to her friends) attended Santa Fe Elementary school where she was Student Body Vice President, then President (7th & 8th grade). She attended Centennial High School, while simultaneously attending Maricopa Beauty School. She was incredibly creative and had a love of cosmetology; she was a licensed cosmetologist. Mandy also worked in the Banking industry for several years. On October 15, 2016, Mandy married the true love of her life, Travis Nazer. Together, fulfilling a long time desire she had to see the United States (and still earn a living), she and Travis quit their jobs and became over-the-road truck drivers, crisscrossing the US in a semi-truck and sharing pictures and adventures with family and friends. The desire to start a family eventually brought them “off the road” and Mandy returned to the banking industry as well as taking care of her many “hair clients”, who she always treasured as friends. Starting a family for Mandy and Travis did not come easy but with the help of God, Maverik blessed their lives on December 2, 2020 and he continues to be the shining light of his mother. Amanda will continue to be a beacon of light in our hearts, as a loving mother, a compassionate wife and a beloved friend to all who were blessed to have known her.
Amanda is survived by her husband Travis Andrew Nazer, her son Maverik Andrew Nazer, her parents, Marcelle Wilkinson (Lamont), William Wilkinson (Cindy), her brother Wm Richard Wilkinson (Crystal) her beloved nieces and nephew, Emma, Riley, and Ronin, and her cherished grandfather, Wm Blake Harmon. Along with multiple Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Amanda was preceded in death by two angel children, her grandparents, Nina Colleen Harmon, who no doubt was waiting for her with open arms; and Ignatius and Mary Jo Wilkinson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, 11:00am, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 12951 N. 83rd Ave, Peoria, AZ 85345.
