AVONDALE – Beverly Webster passed away on November 6, 2021. She was the wife of Philip Webster for 39 years. She was born in Detroit, MI on May 6, 1933 and is survived by her husband, Philip, and three children, Gregory Brown, Jeffrey Brown, and Cheryl Brode; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Beverly was the family matriarch who believed in strong family values and was always available to lend an ear to anyone needing help. She was a giver who gave to her family but she also helped many non family members with their personal problems. She first worked in a research center in Detroit where she completed her apprenticeship to become an electroencephalogram (EEG) technician and was involved with many research projects. Later she established herself as a professional EEG tech and moved to Phoenix and worked at the Maryvale hospital for many years helping countless number of patients back to good health. She was a true believer in God and would pray for anyone who needed comfort. She served meals to the homeless and donated her church tithes faithfully to many religious organizations. She also was in the Sunday choir. Beverly had many friends over the years who enjoyed her companionship. She could sit down anywhere and start a conversation with strangers. She always was soft spoken and reassuring and she made you feel comfortable talking with her. She is now with her Lord and the family who have preceded her in death. Beverly will truly be missed by all of the family who have lost a great wife, mother, grandmother and sister. God bless her.
