Grab your phone and masks, pack snacks and hot chocolate, tune your radio to some holiday music and get ready to ooh and aah. In a time of COVID-19, light shows from your car may be the safest way to do it.

More than 100 Valley residents submitted details about their over-the-top holiday lights displays this year.

Locations all over the Valley are on our map, including homes in Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa, Gilbert, Buckeye, Avondale, Goodyear, Glendale, Chandler and more.

You, family and friends in your immediate circle can get out of the house and safely and easily take in the sights. During the pandemic, The Arizona Republic still offers you a map so you can cruise the Valley in search of the biggest and brightest part of the holiday tradition. Remember to mask up and keep a safe social distance if you opt to step out of your vehicle.

About our holiday lights map: It raises money for our annual Season for Sharing campaign. Those who entered their light display details donated $10 to be included on our map.

Now in its 28th year, Season for Sharing has raised almost $70 million for Arizona nonprofits. Last year, we raised and gave away $2.1 million to 176 local groups statewide that boost education, help children and families and support older adults.

Happy holidays from The Arizona Republic and azcentral.
