PEORIA – Michael Sean McClellan, age 59, passed suddenly Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at his daughter’s home in Monroe, WA. Michael was born in Arlington, MA, on August 6, 1962, son of the late Richard and Theresa (Dolan) McClellan.

Michael graduated from Chelmsford High School with the class of 1979. He then went on and served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Medical Specialist from 1979-1982. He worked for Dolan Industries in Clinton, MA, prior to moving to Peoria, AZ. Michael was a kind person with a smile, one who enjoyed being around people and was always willing to help. He was also known as Mike and Mac. In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to get friends and cousins together to go for a hike in the mountains and camping trips. Family gatherings always brought a sing-along which he loved and would surprise us at times with his own song.

Michael was also a devoted father who would do anything needed to support his children, including playing their favorite games, helping with school work, or just being there to listen and offer his guidance. He enjoyed reading, experiencing new things, and he also really liked golf, which is a hobby he passed on and enjoyed with his daughter. In his later years, he enjoyed spending time going for drives and sightseeing, cooking meals from scratch, and enjoying the company of his loved ones, especially over good food or drink.

Michael is survived by his children, Sean McClellan of Everett, WA, his daughter Cady McClellan and her husband Ryan Olson of Monroe, WA. Two sisters Debbie Bellemore Amos and her husband David Amos of Westford, Karen McClellan of Chelmsford, and brother Rick McClellan and his wife Kathy of Tewksbury.
