PETS OF THE WEEK
Every year, approximately 6.5 million companion animals enter shelters nationwide, according to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Of those, about 3.3 million are dogs and 3.2 million are cats.

Magic: Do you believe?
The Arizona Humane Society has one question for you: do you believe in Magic? This handsome feline sure hopes you do! Although he is quite the crowd worker with his charm and good looks, this 6year-old black shorthair kitty, unfortunately, does not have the most magical story.
With quite a history with AHS, Magic originally found his way to the shelter in 2021 after he was found abandoned. His previous owners were evicted and did not take him along. Rescued by an AHS
Cruelty Investigator and given some TLC in the shelter, Magic was quickly adopted and has been there for the last two years.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago and this sweet kitty found himself at AHS once again due to his adopter being unable to care for him any longer. Luckily, he went through the right channels and made the difficult decision to surrender Magic back to AHS so he could find his true forever family. Loving and curious with a delightful spirit, he is sure to bring Magic to your heart and home.
