- Richard Obert

Here are The Arizona Republic’s high school baseball rankings through April 15, 2024. The Super 10 is comprised of the top teams in the state, regardless of conference.

Super 10

1. Hamilton Huskies, 18-4

Everything is coming together for another championship season, but pitching, in the end, still will be the key for a team that has no problem putting up runs.

2. Casteel Colts, 15-6 With Mason Russell pitching a no-hitter in the National High School Baseball Invitational last week in North Carolina, this team is on fire, ready to make a big run at the 5A state playoffs.

3. Queen Creek Bulldogs, 17-7

This is a tough-minded team playing their best baseball right now. They can hit, pitch and defend.

4. Brophy Prep Broncos, 18-5

As good a pitching rotation you will find, which will make them a tough out in a double-elimination format in 6A.

5. Saguaro Sabercats, 21-3

With Cam Caminiti, Billy Gregory and Cade Shumard in the rotation, who is going to stop these guys in 4A?

They’re on a big-time roll right now with a combination of pitching and power igniting them for a 5A state run.

Another great 5A team picking the right time to turn it on.

They’re the defending 4A champs and will be Saguaro’s biggest hurdle in the state playoffs.

Coming off an 8-3 loss to Hamilton and split two games with Mountain Ridge, but coach Chris
