Foster parents needed for shelter animals

From just a “virtual shelter” on our website in 2002 to five physical locations today, LifeLine Animal Project has grown to be the largest sheltering organization in Atlanta, providing care to over 15,000 Atlanta homeless animals each year.

Currently, the shelters are overcrowded. With over 800 animals in its care, Lifeline is reaching out to the community for help.

The greatest need right now is temporary fosters for 2-4 weeks while some pups are awaiting rides to rescues. You can be their bridge from the shelter to their forever home. Additionally, all temporary fosters will receive a bag of food and crate for the foster dog.

Help with the gift of sight

In order to meet the demand for eyeglasses requests for mission trips, Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation needs help getting them ready. There are many opportunities to volunteer in the Recycling Center. These include, but are not limited to, washing, sorting, and reading eyeglass prescriptions.
