Eat up: During the sixth anniversar­y of Noshfest, guests will be able to taste food from local restaurant­s, listen to live music, shop and more from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sept. 4 and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 5 at Temple Kol Emeth. Sample tastes will be priced by individual restaurant­s and will cost $1-$5 via Noshfest tickets, which will be available on-site. Admission to the event will be two canned goods per family. Book signing: During Prologue to the Book Festival, New York Times best-selling author Carl Hiaasen will speak and sign copies of his book “Razor Girl” beginning at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta. “Razor Girl” tells the story of Merry Mansfield, a crash scam artist who bashes a car from behind on the road to the Florida Keys and sets off a spiraling chain of events.
