No. 11 UCLA 97, (at) No. 1 Kentucky 92: Isaac Hamilton scored 19 points, T.J. Leaf had 17 with 13 rebounds, and the Bruins (9-0) won their first visit to Rupp Arena and ended the 42-game home win streak of the Wildcats (7-1). It was UCLA’s second upset of top-ranked Kentucky in as many years, and it was the most points scored against a Kentucky team coached by John Calipari. Malik Monk had 24 points and De’Aaron Fox added 20 for the Wildcats. (At) No. 2 Villanova 88, Saint Joseph’s 57: Josh Hart had 16 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for his first career triple-double, as the Wildcats (8-0) drubbed their crosstown rivals, the Hawks (3-4). Villanova, which also got 20 points from Kris Jenkins, won its 16th straight Big 5 game against Philly-based teams La Salle, Penn, Drexel, Temple and the Hawks. Lamarr Kimble led Saint Joe’s with 15 points. (At) No. 4 Kansas 89, Stanford 74: Frank Mason III scored 20 points, Devonte Grahamm Josh Jackson and Svi Mykhailiuk each added 15, and the Jayhawks (7-1) topped the Cardinal (6-3) to win their 44th straight at Allen Fieldhouse. Reid Travis had a career-best 29 points and nine rebounds for Stanford. (At) No. 5 Duke 94, Maine 55: Luke Kennard scored a career-best 35 points and freshman Jayson Tatum finished with 10 points in his long-awaited debut, leading the Blue Devils (8-1) over the Black Bears (2-6). Amile Jefferson added a career-high 20 points for Duke, which played without a true point guard. Ilker Er scored all 20 of his points in the first half for Maine.

No. 25 West Virginia 66, (at) No. 6 Virginia 57: Esa Ahmad hit a tiebreakin­g 3-pointer with 1:28 remaining, and the Mountainee­rs (6-1) scored 11 of the game’s final 13 points to end the 24-game home winning streak of the Cavaliers (71). Jevon Carter led West Virginia with 11 points and Nathan Adrian had 10. Darius Thompson scored 14 to lead Virginia.

(At) No. 9 Baylor 76, No. 7 Xavier 61: Manu Lecomte scored 24 points, and Johnathan Motley added 17 points and eight rebounds as the Bears (8-0) knocked off the Musketeers (7-1). Baylor has beaten three Top 10 teams in the same season for the first time. Trevon Blueitt led Xavier with 23 points and Edmond Sumner added 19.

No. 8 Gonzaga 69, No. 16 Arizona 62: Przemek Karnowski scored 18 points, Josh Perkins added 16, and the Bulldogs (8-0) held off the Wildcats (6-2) in the inaugural Hoophall LA doublehead­er at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Akron at No. 10 Creighton: Late No. 14 Louisville at Grand Canyon: Late (At) No. 15 Purdue 90, Morehead State 56: Freshman guard Carsen Edwards scored 16 points, and the Boilermake­rs (6-2) made 11 3-pointers in the first half en route to a win over the Eagles (2-5). (At) No. 17 Wisconsin 90, Oklahoma 70: Nigel Hayes scored 28 points, and the Badgers (7-2) trailed the Sooners (5-2) the entire first half but rallied for a home rout. Bronson Koenig, Ethan Happ (nine rebounds) and D’Mitrik Trice all scored 16 points for Wisconsin. Rashard Odomes led Oklahoma with 17. (At) No. 18 Butler 82, Central Arkansas 58: Kelan Martin finished with 30 points and six rebounds, Tyler Wideman added 10 points and 10 rebounds, and the Bulldogs (8-0) beat the Bears (1-7). (At) Providence 63, No. 21 Rhode Island 60: Jalen Lindsey scored nine of his 13 points in the second half to help the Friars (6-2) edge the Rams (5-3), handing Rhode Island its third loss in four games. Kyron Cartwright had 19 points and eight assists for Providence. (At) No. 22 Syracuse 77, North Florida 71: Andrew White scored a season-high 26 points, and Frank Howard had 10 points and a career-high 13 assists to help the Orange (5-2) hold off the Ospreys (3-7) and snap a two-game skid. Dallas Moore led North Florida with 30 points, 22 in the second half.

(At) No. 23 Oregon 128, Savannah State 59: Tyler Dorsey had 29 points and six rebounds, Dillon Brooks added 22 points, and the Ducks (7-2) rolled over the Tigers (2-8). Dexter McClanahan had 13 points for Savannah State.

Wake Forest 75, (at) Richmond 67: John Collins had 16 points and 13 rebounds and Austin Arians added 15 points as the Demon Deacons (6-2) topped the Spiders (4-4). T.J. Cline led Richmond with 20 points and eight assists.

(At) Boston College 88, Dartmouth 70: Jerome Robinson’s 27 points and four assists lifted the Eagles (4-3) over the Big Green (0-6).

(At) N.C. State 77, Boston University 73: Terry Henderson scored 23 points, Torin Dorn added 22 points and 11 rebounds, and the Wolfpack (6-2) held off the Terriers (4-4).

(At) Miami 74, Wofford 57: Ja’Quan Newton had 15 points and nine assists, Kamari Murphy added 14 points and 10 rebounds, and the Hurricanes (6-2) defeated the Terriers (26), who got 16 points from Cameron Jackson.

(At) Mississipp­i 85, Memphis 77: Sebastian Saiz scored 20 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to power the Rebels (62) past the Tigers (6-2). Deandre Burnett scored 19 points and Cullen Neal added 12 for the Rebels, who hit 28 of 33 free throws (85 percent), including 17 straight in the final eight minutes. Ole Miss had a 20-3 run in the second half to wipe out a 66-61 deficit. Memphis was led by K. J. Lawson with 17 points. (At) Missouri 59, Western Kentucky 56: Frankie Hughes had 18 points and four rebounds, and the Tigers (4-3) escaped the Hilltopper­s (3-5). Missouri’s Kevin Puryear had 12 points and five rebounds, including eight points in the second half, and Russell Woods scored 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds, tying a team high.
