Park construction shuts down Cartecay Drive
Last week Brookhaven closed Clack’s Corner Park at 1410 Cartecay Drive. Now the small portion of Cartecay Drive in front of the park will be closed through Thursday for work on a drainage project for the park.
The closure will not impact any residential driveways.
The park will be closed for six weeks for construction, which includes a monument sign, community lawn, play area and new benches. Motorists should use alternative driving routes to avoid delays.
