Evermore CID moves from Stone Mountain
The Evermore Community Improvement District is moving to 2795 Main Street West, Building 28 in Snellville. The organization will hold its first board meeting of 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 25 in the new offices. The public is invited.
The Evermore CID is an association of property owners along U.S. 78 from Stone Mountain to Snellville in Gwinnett that voluntarily taxes themselves to improve the community.
The goal of the CID is to establish a “vibrant, upscale destination area, improve business development opportunities, and enhance property values” by developing and promoting coordinated transportation and community character improvements to benefit property owners, business owners, and residents along the Highway 78 corridor.
The Evermore CID is actively involved in the redevelopment of the intersection of Highway 124/ Scenic Highway at U.S. 78, the construction of parallel access north of U.S. 78 between Hewatt Road to Parkwood Road and Britt Road, and landscape improvements along the 78 corridor.

As a result, the Fall Festival Committee donated $30,000 to the city to purchase a new tractor.
Local community partner, AGCO Corporation, headquartered in Duluth, spotted information about the donation and decided to help with the new tractor.
A brand new Massey Ferguson tractor with a much larger price tag than the $30,000 donation was delivered recently to the Duluth Public Works facility.
