The Grammy Awards always produce a monster lineup of performers, and this Sunday, the show will have something for the “little monsters” as well.

Lady Gaga will head to Los Angeles to perform with Metallica. The hard rockers, who are up for best rock song (“Hardwired”), were one of the first big names announced to perform at the ceremony. The band previously performed their hit “One” in 2014 with classical pianist Lang Lang.

Lady Gaga isn’t eligible for any awards this year because her new album, “Joanne,” was released past the 2016 deadline.

Theirs is one of several pairings at the 59th annual Grammys, which will air live from Los Angeles at 8 p.m. Sunday on CBS with first-time host James Corden.

Alicia Keys will sing with four-times-nominated country artist Maren Morris; The Weeknd teams with Daft Punk; and Kelsea Ballerini is paired with Lukas Graham.

Given the tremendous number of losses to the music community last year, the Grammys have a difficult task of balancing a celebratory vibe with remembrances of major musical forces. John Legend and Cynthia Erivo will perform a tribute to those who died..

Meanwhile, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Bee Gees’ landmark “Saturday Night Fever” soundtrack, Demi Lovato, Andra Day and Tori Kelly will join the previously announced Little Big Town in a collaborative performance to commemorate the anniversary.
