Absalom Jones celebratio­n: The Atlanta Chapter of the Union of Black Episcopali­ans (UBE) will celebrate the life and service of Absalom Jones, the first AfricanAme­rican ordained as a priest in the Episcopal Church, at 4 p.m. Feb. 19 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. This will be a Eucharist service, and the Honorable Clinton Deveaux, a retired judge of the Municipal Court of Atlanta, will deliver the sermon.
