Perimeter CIDs name new executive director

Ann Hanlon, executive director of the North Fulton Community Improvement District, is being hired for the same role at the Perimeter Center Community Improvement Districts.

Hanlon, a Dunwoody resident, is expected to start her new job by early June, pending confirmation of her hiring by the Perimeter organization’s two boards, for the Central (DeKalb) Perimeter and Fulton Perimeter CIDs.

She was hired after an executive search following the resignation last fall of the CIDs’ president and CEO, Yvonne Williams.

The two Perimeter self-taxing districts operate as one entity, using their combined property taxes for transportation and infrastructure improvements.

Hanlon has been with the North Fulton CID since January 2005. Before that, she was project manager for the Sandy Springs-based Perimeter Center CIDs.

She also serves on the board of the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority and the executive board and board of directors of the Council for Quality Growth. She is a member of the North Fulton Poverty Task Force and chaired the DeKalb County Charter Commission in 2016.

Hanlon has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s in public administration from Georgia State University.
