Double Dragon open in Oakhurst

Restaurate­urs Michael Lo and George Yu, the team behind Taiyo Ramen in downtown Decatur and Suzy Siu’s Baos in Krog Street Market, have opened their latest concept, Double Dragon, in the former Saba space in Oakhurst Village. Yumbii debuts beverage program

Yumbii, known as Atlanta’s first food truck, opened its first brick-and-mortar restaurant in South Buckhead in late 2016, offering a street food-inspired menu in a fastcasual setting. Now, the location is debuting a beverage program with house-made margaritas, local beer, and a concise wine list by the glass or bottle. Larkin on Memorial adds restaurant­s

Paces Properties has announced two new additions to the restaurant and shopping mix at its Larkin on Memorial developmen­t. Firepit Pizza Tavern is a “full-service pizza tavern” from chef Leslie Cohen, a recent winner of the Food Network’s “Cutthroat Kitchen.” Full Commission is an “upscale restaurant and tap room” serving Southern fusion small plates. Attack of the Killer Tomato Fest

Chef-restaurate­ur Ford Fry’s ninth annual Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival returns to Park Tavern from 1-5 p.m. July 16. Top chefs, mixologist­s and local farmers will team up to create tomato-based dishes and drinks in support of Georgia Organics, the nonprofit connecting organic food from Georgia farms to Georgia families. Live music by the B-53s, Athens’ new wave tribute band, and Fry’s “chef band” will make another guest appearance.
