A $5,000 reward is being offered in the search for a man accused of shooting two College Park police officers.

College Park police responded to a report of a domestic dispute involving Kendarrious Chester about 10 a.m. Saturday.

During the incident, Chester shot two officers inside the Red Snapper restaurant in the 5000 block of Old National Highway. He has been on the run ever since.

“We don’t have any solid leads at this time,” College Park Deputy Chief Ferman Williford told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Tuesday.

The officers are expected to make full recoveries, according to the Clayton County Sheriff ’s Office.

One officer was shot in the stomach area. However, the bullet was blocked by his bulletproof vest, according to Channel 2 Action News. A bullet fired at the other officer ended up hitting his police radio.

Chester is 5-foot-10, weighs about 152 pounds and has dreadlocks, the sheriff’s office said. He might be wearing a dirty white shirt and black shorts with white stars.

Sheriff Victor Hill described Chester as armed and dangerous.
