Golf course to get new HVAC system

Golfers at Cobb’s Cobblestone Golf Course should be able to cool off more quickly due to a new HVAC system.

The new heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system was approved recently by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners for the clubhouse at 4200 Nance Road, Acworth.

Shriver Mechanical Inc. will be paid $43,868 for the system that will replace the original unit installed in 1993 in the clubhouse, which no longer can be repaired.
