Atlanta Municipal Court: DeKalb Sheriff Jeff Mann has pleaded not guilty to ordinance violations of indecency and obstruction. His trial is set for July 7.

Governor’s investigation: Gov. Nathan Deal suspended Mann for 40 days last week based on the recommendation of two sheriffs and Attorney General Chris Carr.

Certification inquiry: The Georgia Peace Officer Training and Standards Council could suspend or revoke Mann’s license.
