All-Star pitcher Dallas Keuchel is set to rejoin the Houston Astros’ rotation Friday at the Detroit Tigers.

The 2015 AL Cy Young Award winner has not pitched since June 2 due to a neck injury that sent him to the disabled list for the second time this year.

The left-hander was 9-0 with a 1.67 ERA in 11 starts before going on the disabled list.

“I’ve been looking forward to this for a while,” Keuchel said before Wednesday’s game against Philadelphia. “I feel great. It’s go time.”

Red Sox: Boston acquired infielder Eduardo Nunez from the Giants for minor league right-handers Shaun Anderson and Gregory Santos. Nunez, 30, hit .308 in 76 games with San Francisco this season and has reached base safely in 40 of his past 42 games.

■ Third baseman Rafael Devers homered at Seattle on Wednesday for his first hit in the majors. At 20 years and 275 days old, Devers is the youngest Red Sox player to homer since Tony Conigliaro in September 1965.

Brewers: Acquired reliever Anthony Swarzak from the White Sox for minor league outfielder Ryan Cordell. Swarzak, 31, is 4-3 with a career-low 2.23 ERA in 41 games this year. The righthander got four outs for his first career save in Monday’s 3-1 win at the Cubs.

Marlins: First baseman Justin Bour (right oblique) and shortstop JT Riddle (left biceps tendinitis) were put on the 10-day disabled list.

White Sox: Outfielder Avisail Garcia has a strained right thumb ligament, likely sidelining the All-Star for a couple of weeks. Garcia, 26, is batting .303 with 13 homers and 54 RBIs in 88 games.

Pirates: The team’s strength and conditioning staff is re-evaluating Gregory Polanco’s offseason training regimen in light of the outfielder’s second trip to the 10-day disabled list because of a strained hamstring.

Cubs: Left-hander Brett Anderson was released. Anderson, 29, signed a $3.5 million, one-year contract with the Cubs over the winter. He went 2-2 with an 8.18 ERA in six starts.

Mets: Manager Terry Collins said closer Jeurys Familia (blood clot, right arm) is playing catch and will be moving to the mound soon. Collins said he expects Familia to pitch again this season for the Mets, he’s just not sure when.

Giants: Right-hander Johnny Cueto (blister) threw 45 pitches in a bullpen session Wednesday. He’s scheduled to throw again Friday and if all goes well, will likely return to action.

Dodgers: Chris Taylor, who opened the season in Triple-A and was expected to be a utility player when he was called up by the Dodgers on April 19, is 23 for 44 since the All-Star break. His two hits Tuesday gave him four consecutive multihit games. Taylor, 26, is hitting .321 on the season and has played second, third, shortstop, left and center. “You don’t know what this young man’s ceiling is,” manager Dave Roberts said. “He’s a wonderful player.”

Yankees: Slugger Aaron Judge, 7 for 41 since the AllStar break, was given the day off Wednesday. He is expected to be in the lineup tonight when the Rays visit.
