Boxing: Terence Crawford had his 90-day jail sentence overturned in Nebraska, though he still will be on two years’ probation for two misdemeano­rs in connection with a 2016 disturbanc­e at an Omaha body shop. Crawford knocked out Julius Indongo in Lincoln last weekend to win all four world championsh­ip belts in the 140pound division.

Cycling: Slovene rider Matej Moho ric won the Spanish Vuelta’s longest stage at 128 miles, and Chris Froome maintained his overall lead by 11 seconds.

Football: Montreal slotback Ni k Lewis broke the CFL career pass receptions record Thursday in a 34-31 overtime loss to Winnipeg. Lewis, 35, caught 10 passes for 88 yards to push his career receptions total to 1,031, two more than the previous mark set by former B.C. Lions receiver Geroy Simon.

Golf: In Gee Chun took the lead in the Canadian Pacific Women’s Open in Ottawa, closing with a birdie on the par-5 ninth for her second straight 4-under 67. The South Korean has a two-stroke lead over Americans Mo Martin, Brittany Lincicome and Marina Alex. Canadian teen Brooke Henderson followed her opening 74 with a 69 to make the cut at 1 over. Horse racing: For the first time in 35 years, the winners of the Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont will meet in the 148th Travers today. Tapwrit (Belmont) was the 7-2 Friday favorite. Always Dreaming (Derby) and Cloud Computing (Preakness) are also in the field of 12.

NHL: The Devils signed winger Drew Stafford to a one-year, $800,000 deal. Stafford, 31, had eight goals and 13 assists last season with Winnipeg and Boston.

Soccer: Cristiano Ronaldo won his third UEFA men’s player of the year award in four seasons, beating Lionel Messi and Gianluigi Buffon for the award.

■ Real Salt Lake forward Ricardo Velazco was arrested on accusation­s he had unlawful sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl in May. Velazco, who was 23 at the time, also was suspended by MLS.
