Q: How much did Keisha Lance Bottoms make as executive director of the Atlanta-Fulton County Recreational Authority, and how many hours did she work there per week? —Steven Hays, Atlanta
A: She earned $135,000 a year for her full-time role with the authority, the AJC has reported. She stepped down from the position in April to run for Atlanta mayor. She also earned $60,300 for her part-time work as a member of the Atlanta City Council.
Bottoms is in a Dec. 5 runoff with councilwoman Mary Norwood for Atlanta mayor.
Q: I’ve looked at the Georgia Secretary of State’s website and can’t find any information about early or absentee voting for the runoff election on Dec. 5. Can you provide information about voting early or absentee? —Vicky Benedict, Atlanta
A: Early voting for the municipal general and special runoff elections in Fulton County begins Nov. 27 and runs through Friday, Dec. 1, according to the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections.
Polls will be open for early voting at 18 locations throughout the county from 8:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. those days. There will be no weekend voting the weekend prior to election day on Dec. 5.
