Bar Americano, Bar Crema now open

- AJC STAFF

November is ending with a bang for a growing Atlanta restaurant group.

Bar Americano and Bar Crema, two concepts from Ten Apart, the team behind The Mercury, The Pinewood and Proof Cocktail Syrups, is now open in Buckhead. The group also opened latenight taco spot Deep End earlier this month.

Located in the Andrews Square development (formerly known as the East Andrews Entertainment District), Bar Americano will serve as an Italian-inspired bar and restaurant offering pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salads and main dishes, as well as a program featuring aperitivos, Americanos and other classic cocktails.

Bar Crema will offer an espresso and coffee program, cocktails and gelato, meats and cheeses, white bean hummus and other bar snacks, and take-away items such as desserts, pastries and sandwiches.

Ten Apart partner Julian Goglia will serve as the beverage director and Adam Waller will serve as executive chef for Bar Americano, while John Fogelman will serve as managing beverage director for Bar Crema.

Waller previously served as executive chef at Bocado in West Midtown and sous chef at STG Trattoria and Sotto Sotto and has worked in several other Atlanta kitchens.

Georgia native Fogelman previously served as director of education, manager and bartender at Octane Coffee.
