Q: Who are the UGA senior football players who have or are on schedule to graduate? — Bob Markert, Roswell

A: These players have already graduated: John Atkins, Aulden Bynum, Reggie Carter, Aaron Davis, Brice Ramsey, Cam Nizialek and David Marvin, according to athletic department officials.

These players are scheduled to get degrees in December: Davin Bellamy, Jeb Blazevich, Trent Frix, Carson Hall, Matthew Herzwurm, Tim Hill, Thomas Swilley and Nizialek (masters).

Georgia, which won its first SEC championsh­ip since 2005, will face Oklahoma in a College Football Playoff semifinal in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1.

Q: An article in the Nov. 28 AJC, “Medical examiners seek fingerprin­t access to identify metro Atlanta dead,” explains the reason Fulton County is seeking access to the Georgia Crime Informatio­n Center statewide fingerprin­t database. Why is that access not already available? — Jim Dion, Lawrencevi­lle

A: Medical examiners’ offices are not law enforcemen­t agencies, and there are a host of rules and regulation­s regarding any agency having access to criminal history informatio­n, a spokespers­on for the Georgia Bureau of Investigat­ion told Q&A on the News.
