No. 2 Michigan State routs Cleveland State

Nick Ward had 22 points and 14 rebounds, and No. 2 Michigan State rolled to a 111-61 victory over Cleveland State, the third straight game for the Spartans with over 100 points.

The host Spartans (13-1) led 63-25 at halftime after shooting 74 percent from the field in the opening 20 minutes — including 9 of 13 from 3-point range. Michigan State finished 15 of 26 from beyond the arc and shot 65 percent overall.

Joshua Langford added 23 points for Michigan State, and Miles Bridges added 18 with eight rebounds and seven assists.

Bobby Word scored 26 points for the visiting Vikings (3-10) and made seven 3-pointers.

No. 7 West Virginia 85, (at) Oklahoma State 79: Teddy Allen came off the bench to score 15 points, and the Mountainee­rs (121) had six players in double figures during a victory over the Cowboys (10-3).

No. 11 Kansas at Texas: Late

(At) No. 16 Kentucky 90, Louisville 61: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander came off the bench to score a careerhigh 24 points, PJ Washington added 16, and the Wildcats (10-2) used several runs to blow out the rival Cardinals (10-3). Deng Adel scored 13 points for Louisville, which saw its six-game win streak snapped.

(At) No. 22 Texas Tech 77, No. 18 Baylor 53: Keenan Evans had 18 points, Zhaire Smith added 15, and the Red Raiders (12-1, 1-0 Big 12) rolled by the Bears (10-3, 0-1).
