As the birthday of one of the country’s most revered civil rights leaders approaches, many Atlanta organizations are hosting special events to salute Martin Luther King Jr.’s contributions to history and the powerful legacy of civil rights, activism and unity he left behind. Leading up to his birthday celebration Monday, there are many ways to honor his legacy through programs, services and events in metro Atlanta.
