Fresh strawberries are $1.67 per point, 5-pound Halo mandarin oranges are $3.99, fresh lettuce bunches are $1.29 each, avocados are 99 cents each and Perdue chicken drumsticks/thighs/whole fryers are $1.29 per pound.

Promotion: Kroger has a promotion that gives you $5 off five participating items. Large boxes of Huggies diapers (40 to 112 count) are $17.99. Use the $2 coupon from the Feb. 25 SmartSource to pay $15.99. Many promotion items are good deals without coupons, such as Kroger bottled water (24 pack) for $1.99, Kraft Macaroni & Cheese for 49 cents, Quaker cereals for $1.49, Fritos/Doritos/Cheetos for $1.77 and Kellogg’s cereals for $1.79. Chobani, Blue Diamond, Thomas’: Kroger has Chobani yogurt (5.3-ounce cups) on sale for $1. Use the free Chobani coupon from the Feb. 11 SmartSource to get it free. The coupon’s value is up to $2.19, so you can get free Chobani yogurt with that coupon at every store that carries it for $2.19 or less. There is also a $1-offtwo coupon from the Jan. 7 SmartSource that would bring the cost down to 50 cents each. Blue Diamond Refrigerated Almond Milk (64 ounce) is on sale for $2.50. Use the $1-offtwo coupon from the Feb. 11 SmartSource to pay $2 each. Thomas’ English muffins and bagels are on sale “buy one, get one free,” or $2 each.
