The best Easter dyes
Skip the artificially colored Easter eggs this year. While it’s entirely possible to get out red cabbage, blueberries, onion skins and beets and make natural dyes, we’ve found an easier way. You can use this Easter egg coloring kit from Color Kitchen. The kit comes with three colors made from radish (purple), cabbage (blue) and annatto, the seeds of the achiote tree that make a bright orange coloring. You can dye the eggs one color, or double or triple dip to produce a rainbow of hues. Each kit will dye up to two dozen eggs.
